Inspiraciones para un Centenario. Inspirations for a Centenary is the title of an “artistic notebook” creatively produced to savour the centenary of the Pontifical Approval of the Teresian Association.

On Sunday 11 February, the Teresian Association in Malabo (Equatorial Guinea) had a thanksgiving Mass for the first centenary of the pontifical approval of the Association. It was attended by the TA president. This celebration also included the incorporation of two new members into the ACIT Equatorial Guinea Association.

After Bethlehem and Jerusalem, the TA group in Holy Land had a last –very significant– thanksgiving celebration of the pontifical approval in Nazareth on Saturday February 24.

After the pan India celebration of the Golden Jubilee of the TA presence in India, at Honnavar in November, it was the turn for celebrations in Gujarat and Pune, places where the TA is rooted, adding now the joy and gratitude for 100 years of pontifical approval of the Teresian Association by Pope Pius XI.

As TA groups around the world marked the centenary of the pontifical approval of the Teresian Association, a celebration was also held in Brussels on 11 January.

Throughout the length and breadth of Spain -- Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Cordoba, Guadix, Jaen, Leon, Madrid, Malaga, Oviedo, Palma de Mallorca, Santander, Seville, Valencia, Valladolid and Zaragoza, the centenary of the pontifical approval of the Teresian Association is being celebrated.

Pope Francis Message for Lent 2024, Through the Desert God Leads us to Freedom, asks us to embrace Lent as a powerful time in which the Word of God addresses us anew: “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery” (Ex 20:2).
