With the motto of 2023, “My grace is enough for you”, the Teresian Association will go on pilgrimage to Covadonga next weekend, October 7 and 8, fulfilling the desire of its founder to offer before the Blessed Virgin every year the fruits of her mission.

This year the celebration of the International Meeting and the 19th General Assembly, among many other events, will be an invitation to give thanks in a special way.

Members, friends and collaborators of the Association will come to this Marian place in the Asturias region (Spain) to accompany the representatives from different countries. The President of the Association, Gregoria Ruiz, elected at the 19th General Assembly held last August, and several members of the new Governing Council will also attend the encounter with the Blessed Virgin.

The events that will be attended by all the pilgrims have the following program:

Pedro Poveda, who was canon in Covadonga from 1906 to 1913, wrote in 1928:

“Before the image of the Blessed Virgin we prayed, we projected, we saw, so to speak, the development of the Work. [...] In short, seven years of intense life in that blessed place are a lot, and all that they gave was around the ideal of my life, which arose and crystallised looking at the Blessed Virgin”.

Year after year, with no interruption since 1934, the Association fulfills the promise made by Pedro Poveda, that a group of members of the TA would present and offer before the Blessed Virgin the fruits of the whole year, to maintain the awareness of its Marian origin and to recognize the gifts received through Mary's intercession.
